Assistant Fire Chief Matthew Lupo

Congratulations to Assistant Fire Chief Matthew Lupo for his remarkable achievement in attaining the Executive Fire Officer certification through FEMA, as recognized by the Nolensville Board of Commissioners.

The FEMA Executive Fire Officer program is renowned for its profound level of dedication and perseverance. It signifies not only advanced leadership capabilities but also an extensive comprehension of the fire service industry and a steadfast commitment to enhancing organizational and community resilience.

Over a span of two years, participants in the program undertake five intensive courses at the National Fire Academy in Emmitsburg, Maryland. This rigorous curriculum equips them with the knowledge and skills necessary to elevate both their department and the communities they serve.

With only a select few completing this certification in the State of Tennessee and across the nation, Assistant Fire Chief Lupo’s accomplishment is truly exceptional. In Williamson County, where there are just a handful of active Executive Fire Officers, his achievement stands as a testament to his unwavering dedication and expertise.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Chief Lupo on this well-deserved recognition. His commitment to excellence serves as an inspiration to us all, and we are immensely proud to have him leading our fire department.
