A Conversation with NHS 2025 Head Dance Coach 

How many years have you coached the Dance team at Nolensville High?

I was assistant coach for about two years, and this is my first year as head coach.  My friend, Amy Deir, is the new assistant coach. We danced together at Western Kentucky University and we both work at Nolensville High School. 

What are your expectations of the 2025 Team?

Because I am just taking over the head coaching role, I feel like we are in a transition year.  I hope to use this year to make new traditions and keep the old ones that we love.

Who are your key Seniors?

All of our seniors are amazing, and each one has a captain role. Our two head captains are Brooke Davis and Anna Tappel.

New members of the squad to watch?

We have 8 new freshmen this year and they all bring their own flair to the team!

Any thing about this squad that will make them make an impact this year? Awards, things like that? 

We went to UDA camp at University of Louisville in July and had a blast!  We received a superior trophy, 69 blue ribbons, the team Full-Out award, and many drill-down ribbons.

What should fans know about this year’s dance squad?

This year’s dance team is so fun and full of talent!
