Discover the Nolensville Food Pantry

The pantry has been around since 2009. In the beginning we served maybe 10-15 families a week. We grew every year and after 2020 we had outgrown our spot in the Providence Baptist Church office. In March of 2021, we purchased the building and started building. We built it from the ground up. All volunteers. Many from Providence and also regular volunteers. In August of 2021, we opened the new home for the pantry.

We have food distribution every Thursday from 9am-noon. Volunteers come on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday to prepare for the distribution. We give out a wide variety of items. Canned food, household goods, personal items, fresh vegetables (from local farmers, individuals, Redemption City Church farm and Second Harvest) and bread donated to us from Publix, House of Bread and Panera Bread, snack bags, eggs (several locals provide fresh eggs), meat, diapers and baby products. We set up a market place outside of the pantry weekly that has all kinds of odds and ends to choose from. We are funded by food and monetary donations. The Nolensville community is amazing and keeps us going with food drop offs in our little brown bins outside, food drives (from the boy scouts, churches, schools, and organizations). We also purchase food from Second Harvest and other grocery stores with the monetary donations we receive.

We have really grown over the years. We average serving 100 families a week. This brings a good and bad feeling. We hate that so many are in need, but are so thankful to everyone that supports the pantry. We could not do what we do weekly without them.
