Eagle Scout William Stephenson, Honors the American Flag

On Flag Day, the Town of Nolensville proudly recognizes William Stephenson, a Scout and Eagle Scout candidate from Troop 298, for his meaningful contribution to our community.

As part of his Eagle Scout project, William designed and built two American Flag retirement boxes—providing a respectful and accessible way for residents to retire worn or damaged flags. His project was inspired by his years of participating in flag retirement ceremonies with his troop and assisting with flag installations with the Nolensville High School Band.

The flag retirement boxes have been installed at Nolensville Town Hall and Nolensville Fire & Rescue Station, where they now serve as lasting symbols of civic pride and service.

Thank you William, for your dedication and for creating a meaningful way for our community to honor the American Flag.
