Falcon Financial: Where Finacial Planning is More Than Just Business, it’s Personal

When Falcon Financial first opened its Nolensville office in April 2025, perhaps no one anticipated how quickly they would make a name for themselves, but that is exactly what happened in August when the firm’s president, Clay Blanton, was recognized as one of the Best-in-State Top Financial Security Professionals in Tennessee by Forbes magazine. With 25 years of financial planning experience and a sterling reputation among his clientele, no one should be surprised by the accolade Clay received. Given the professionalism and integrity in which he conducts his business, no one deserves the honor more than Clay.

A graduate of CSU Fresno with a degree in Accounting and Finance, Clay has forged a career out of helping individuals and business owners build financial security. Never one to rest on his laurels, he constantly strives to better himself, educating himself the way he educates his clients. Over the years, Clay has earned the industry’s most respected credentials, including accreditations as a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP®), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®), and a Wealth Management Certified Professional (WMCP®).

Before his move to Tennessee, Clay served in multiple leadership roles with National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) in California, the Society of Financial Service Professionals, and the Fresno Estate Planning Council. At Falcon Financial, Clay acts as “personal CFO,” guiding clients through investment management, tax planning, retirement strategies, and insurance needs. “We see ourselves as head coaches,” Clay explains. “Every client deserves a game plan built just for them.”

When Clay and his family took the leap of faith and moved from California to Tennessee in 2021, Nolensville’s small-town charm and community pride endeared Clay and his wife, Katie, who live in Franklin with their five children—Ivy, Lilly, Clayton III, Greyson, and Brennon. With four of their kids now attending Ravenwood High School, Clay and Katie have become diehard Raptor fans, taking great pride in attending and supporting every game their children play in and every activity they pursue.

What drives the Blanton family is their faith, and they aspire to live according to the Platinum rule: Do unto others as they would have you do unto them. This belief drives not only Clay’s personal faith but also Falcon Financial’s mission as they continue to make the firm a trusted resource for families across Nolensville and beyond.
