For the first time at Sunset Elementary, students are lacing up their skates in PE. In the class, students are provided with skates, helmets, and other safety gear. They will have the opportunity to skate six times over the course of three weeks.
“So far, we have learned how to get up if you fall, how to put on all the gear, and how to go forward,” said SSES student Patrick Weaver. “I don’t know how to skate, but I bet it is pretty fun once you learn how.”
