An interview with New NHS Head Football Coach Scott Stidham

How excited are you to be coaching at Nolensville High?

I’m very excited about coaching at Nolensville. Our players have been working hard since we were hired in April to get prepared for our first game on August 22. We can’t wait to be playing and coaching in front of the best gameday atmosphere around!

What are your expectations for the 2025 team?

We will always have high expectations around our program. We have a very challenging schedule, and we’re excited to see how we stack up against some great programs. Our Non-Region schedule will definitely prepare us for the challenge of playing in Region 5-5A.

Are there any new players that will make an impact this year?

They are all new to us! Everyone got to start with a blank slate with the new coaching staff. We’re excited about the potential and growth we’ve seen since April.

What should fans know about this year’s team?

They will play incredibly hard! This is a bunch of really great young men who are fun to coach because of the work ethic and desire to improve that they bring to practice every day. 

Is there anything else you’d like to say about this year’s team?

The next 5 weeks are really important as we solidify our depth chart. Many of our players missed spring practice because they player other sports (which is great!). Some of them have looked good in shorts and t-shirts this summer, but we’ll learn a lot more as begin practicing in pads.
