My Journey into Healing:

A Story of Purpose, Peace, and People with Tina Rodabough

In 2001, I was a stay-at-home mom with two kids finally off to school. Like many moms at that stage, I found myself asking, “What’s next for me”? I began searching for a career that would align with motherhood—something flexible, meaningful, and heart-centered. It was my mother-in-law who first suggested massage therapy and I didn’t know it then, but that one suggestion would open the door to what would become my life’s work and now, more than two decades later, massage therapy is still my calling.

Along the way, I took a short break from massage to step further into the medical world. I put myself through nursing school, earned my certification, and began working in a clinical setting. I thought it would satisfy my desire to care for others—but it wasn’t the same. I missed the calm, serene atmosphere and the quiet connection where I help people in a deeply personal, hands-on way. I missed the personal healing moments that massage therapy brings. Coming to Nolo Med Spa in July was an easy decision, knowing their philosophy mirrors mine in how they take great pride in providing an amazing experience for their clients.

Because every person is different, I tailor each session to meet their specific needs. I get to care for not just the body, but the soul too and I make it a point to ensure everyone feels seen, valued, and genuinely cared for. I want people to leave their appointments not just feeling better—but feeling whole. Before each massage, I pause and pray. I ask the Lord to remove me from the center and work through me instead. I believe in being present, intentional, and thoughtful with every stroke—no rushing, no distractions. Just peace. Just purpose. My long-term goal is to become certified in full-body lymphatic drainage massage so I can continue expanding the ways I serve others. If you’d like to follow my journey or stay up to date with Nolo Med Spa, you can connect with me on Instagram and Facebook.

“As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another.” – 1 Peter 4:10
I truly believe that God gave me the gift of healing through touch. It’s an honor to serve others through it, one massage at a time.
