Nolensville Historical Society: Blooming Connections

What began as a Facebook group sharing gardening photos, advice, plants and seeds with each other, morphed into a co-operative of three local groups hosting an event for a common cause. Saturday March 23 was a blustery morning that drew gardening enthusiast friends and strangers to learn, swap and purchase donated plants, seeds, literature and  gardening supplies in the cafeteria of Nolensville Historic School. The Nolensville Gardener Facebook group partnered with Nolensville Historical Society and Mill Creek Watershed Association to raise funds for the building’s landscaping and pollinator garden. Other community beautification projects are being discussed. Organizer Lynda Moses said “We didn’t make a lot of money but we made a lot of nice people very happy.”
