Nolensville Town Life magazine Sponsors NHS Advertising Opportunities

“We Are One”, what better way to represent Nolensville High School motto than creating an Ad for a local business.   As the marketing teacher, I want my students to leave prepared for the workforce and confident in their ideas.  Students have the opportunity to create, produce, and analyze real world cases/situations. The students enjoy the freedom to create their work with limited boundaries.  This tends to lead to more creativity in our classroom.

The Advertising/Public Relations course focuses on the concepts and strategies associated with promoting products, services, ideas, and events. The course addresses skills essential to the creative side of the industry and explores consumer behavior patterns and motivations for buying. This collaboration with the Nolensville Town Magazine is a great example of putting classroom learning into real-life experiences for my students.

I have enjoyed creating projects and opportunities for the students to build confidence in their creative process and learn how to receive feedback.  We have great conversations and brainstorming sessions when planning for projects.  Congratulations to Madisen Littlejohn and Isabel Morales for their outstanding work. I am glad that we can create something for our local community and hope to do more.  Nolensville High School motto,
“We Are One” runs deep.
