Dr. Jillian Nyquist has been practicing orthodontics in the greater Nashville area for nine years and is beyond excited to plant her roots in a family-oriented practice aimed at serving the community her family calls home.
Originally from Paducah, KY, Dr. Nyquist earned her BS in Biology from the University of Kentucky. She remained in Lexington for another four years, earning her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from UK College of Dentistry. She then completed her orthodontic residency at one of the one of the most well-respected orthodontic programs in the country, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she earned her Master of Science and orthodontic certificate.
Dr. Nyquist is certified by the American Board of Orthodontists, something less than 30% of orthodontists achieve, exemplifying her dedication to providing only the highest standards of orthodontic care.
Dr. Nyquist and her husband, James, have three children: Brooks (9), Marcie (7), and Miller (5). Outside of the office, Dr. Nyquist enjoys running, cooking, hiking, spending time with her family at the lake, and cheering for her kids in all of the sports! She and her family are involved members at Southpointe Community Church in Nolensville.
Dr. Nyquist knew at a young age that she wanted to become an orthodontist, influenced by her positive experience with her own orthodontic treatment. Appreciating the elevated confidence she gained after her treatment, she knew she wanted to be able to offer this same impactful, life- transforming care to others someday.
