Officer Christina Sabol
First Responder
On May 2nd, Christina Sabol was sworn in as a new patrol officer for the Nolensville Police Department. She was embraced with heartfelt congratulations and a warm welcome from the community, both online and offline. Although new to the department and the town, the 10-year veteran from a state highway patrol agency quickly found a home in Nolensville.
“I’m grateful to be able to raise my children here and for them to experience the support and closeness of this unique town. I’m optimistic about the safety and success of Nolensville and excited to continue my law enforcement career here,” said Sabol, who holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Emergency Services Management.
“I feel incredibly proud to don the uniform and represent such an honorable profession. My family is very supportive of me and tells me often how proud they are of me for serving. My three kids love seeing me in uniform!”
Born and raised in California, Sabol planned to become an architect; however, sometime along the way, she decided to take a different path and become a California Highway Patrol officer. She was influenced by her father and grandfathers, who all served and sacrificed in the military. “As a very hands-on individual, I loved the idea of taking an active role to address issues in my community, and I was driven to law enforcement,” she added.
After ten years as an officer, Sabol left California and moved to Tennessee. She spent time with her young children and wanted to explore other career options. During that time, she couldn’t shake the feeling that she needed to return to law enforcement, but it needed to be the correct department. “When I saw the advertisement for an officer vacancy with the Nolensville Police Department, I became curious. After meeting with Chief Parker and Assistant Chief Turns, I did not doubt that Nolensville Police Department was the right place for me to continue my service,” she shared.
“I am still very new to the department, but my experience with the locals has been nothing but positive. Whether it’s a friendly wave from a passing driver on Nolensville Road, people expressing their thanks when I respond to calls for service, or community members telling me, ‘Welcome to Nolensville,’ the locals make their support for the department known. As someone who has worked in various communities, I can say firsthand that the community’s support enormously impacts the morale of officers. I’m very grateful to serve such a supportive community!”
Officer Sabol loves gardening, cooking/baking, and attending live music shows around Nashville. When she’s not on duty, she’s seen working on her small hobby farm or home renovation project, hiking, or playing with her kids and dogs.
