Congratulations to Sunset Middle School Teacher – Abigail Hardage in receiving WCS Middle School Teacher of the Year Recognition

WCS Superintendent Jason Golden and other district administrators traveled around the district to surprise the system-wide Teachers of the Year and Principal of the Year. The Middle School Teacher of the Year for this year is our very own Sunset Middle’s Abigail Hardage!  We are so proud of her recognition and outstanding work. “I love surprising these amazing teachers and administrators every year,” said Golden. “They represent their colleagues all over the district who work hard to make WCS an excellent school district.” Each year, every school selects a teacher and classified employee to honor. A teacher at the elementary, middle and high school level is then selected to be a District Teacher of the Year, which qualifies them to compete for State and National honors.

The following teachers were selected as Teacher of the Year at their respective Nolensville schools and each deserve a huge thank you and congratulations for their achievement and dedication to our children.

• Laura Jenkins, Sunset Elementary

• Abigail Hardage, Sunset Middle

• Olivia Bledsoe, Mill Creek Middle
