Phat Phil’s Extreme Fireworks – Open June 20th – July 5th

As it enters its twentieth season in business, Phat Phil’s Extreme Fireworks’ deep roots in the Nolensville community are stronger than ever. When summertime finally rolls around, you’ll find family, friends, and neighbors flocked around the big top tent for their favorite two-week frenzy of the year: Firework Sales Season.

As the only locally-owned and independent fireworks tent around, Phat Phil’s keeps the community at the forefront. The business regularly donates to local organizations, such as the United Way of Williamson County, Tusculum Church of Christ, and Crievewood United Methodist Church.

The business’s namesake, Phil Adkisson, was born and raised only a few miles up the road from the tract where the fireworks tent opens from June 20th – July 5th every year. Shortly after marrying his sweetheart, Melissa, they bought a farm nearby and welcomed twins Robby and Jake and later their daughter Morgan. When their kids were young, Phil and Melissa decided to open Phat Phil’s Extreme Fireworks because it sounded like fun.

And eventually, Phat Phil’s Extreme Fireworks became a household name in Nolensville’s Fourth of July celebrations.

Nolensville’s beloved Phat Phil passed away early this year following a hard-fought battle with prostate cancer. Although this year will certainly feel different, Phil’s spirit will long be carried on through the business and community he so deeply cared for.
