Trike-A-Thon
Jacob’s Ladder Cooperative Christian Preschool is a Bible-based kindergarten preparation and early childhood development preschool located at Nolensville First United Methodist church. This preschool is a morning program that services children from ages 3 to 5. For the last decade, they have hosted a Trike-A-Thon to help either family within the Nolensville community or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. This year they will be riding trikes to raise money for St. Jude. Students are provided with a hands-on opportunity to love their neighbors while having fun! Nora Tuck commented that “It is so fun riding fast and then stopping.” Another benefit to the students is learning about bike safety. Lexi Corlew, who has participated in the Trike-A-Thon for 3 years, commented, “I like to ride my bike and go over the rules.” Historically, the 40-45 students raised around $3,000 during the event and hope to do so again this year.
